Cabin Blue; Finishes
I have never been more excited to share a post with you all;
Today we get to finally announce that our "little" cabin on the lake is COMPLETE. By complete I mean livable, because it isn't decorated yet. That is the next step in this crazy project. But for now we are going to celebrate the fact we no longer have to stay up working on it until midnight!
This while experience has been so humbling for Matt and I. We learned a lot, we laughed, we cried, we felt all the feelings. It is hard to explain what you learn from doing something like this with your partner, but you really do learn so much. I wouldn't say it is something I would recommend for just anyone, but if you think building/renovating/flipping is something you and your person could be good at - then by all means TRY it! You know what they say.. you never know until you try.
While I want to source everything for you in these photos, I think today I just honestly want to share what the interior looks like. It has been such a whirlwind I want to take some time to just take it in for a moment and appreciate what it looks like. So, here we go.. our "little cabin on the lake" revealed:
It feel so, so good to be able to share all these photos with everyone. I have said it before, but sharing your life and heart on social media can be hard, so to have people who support it and encourage you means so much to us. Thank you to everyone who reached out and let us know they were proud and excited for us. And the ones who reminded us it would all be okay. This experience was one for the books, and I wouldn't change it for the world.
“For I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
